OH Sigma Leadership Direct Fund
The Leadership Direct Fund is established to enable and empower the Ohio Sigma Alumni Corporation to facilitate the collection and distribution of funds to support the evolving needs of the undergraduate Sigma Phi Epsilon, Ohio Sigma chapter at Case Western Reserve University. This fund is fully accessible (after a short hold) for qualifying disbursements such as Alternative Spring Break trip scholarships, national leadership programs, and other chapter support initiatives.
Initiatives for sponsorship using this fund are submitted to the AVC and are reviewed during regular AVC meetings. A final proposal is raised to a vote (in accordance with the Ohio Sigma Alumni Corporation bylaws) and if successful, the funds are disbursed to support the initiative.
Donate to this fund if you want to help the chapter financially and the specific utilities of the other funds are not a match for your contribution goals. It is also encouraged to reach out to the AVC as part of your donation efforts to share your thoughts on what initiatives you would like to see prioritized.
This fund is tax-deductible, and the SigEp Educational Foundation will mail a letter to your address on file at the beginning of the tax season to indicate the amount you can claim for the previous year.

OH Sigma BMS
The Balanced Man Scholarship fund is established to allow for the collection of donations specifically for use as scholarships awarded by the undergraduate chapter to applicants who demonstrate the principles of a Balanced Man in and outside the classroom.
This fund is fully accessible (after a short hold) for scholarships disbursements to support the Balanced Man Scholarship. The undergraduate VP of Recruitment, in conjunction with the undergraduate executive board, Mentor for Recruitment and Chapter Counselor are responsible for the decision of if and how much this fund is used to support the Balanced Man Scholarship program each year.
Donate to this fund if you want to help the chapter financially and the Balanced Man Scholarship program is your priority for how your donation should be used. Scholarships for the Balanced Man Scholarship are typically funded partially by the chapter's operating budget, so this is also a way to indirectly support the chapter's operations in a tax-deductible way.
This fund is tax-deductible, and the SigEp Educational Foundation will mail a letter to your address on file at the beginning of the tax season to indicate the amount you can claim for the previous year.

OH Sigma Scholarship
The Scholarship fund exists as an endowment to support scholarships of existing undergraduate brothers who demonstrate the principles of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Balanced Man and have made significant contributions to the growth and success of the fraternity. As an endowed fund, its balance is invested by the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation and 4.25% is available for disbursement over Sigma Phi Epsilon's fiscal year (July-July). To ensure the fund continues to grow with the chapter, the amount available for disbursement is based on the 4.25% calculation and the amount donated to the fund over the last fiscal year. The lesser value defines the total award to be made available to the selected winner(s).
Undergraduate brothers are open to submit applications during pre-defined award cycles for review by the Ohio Sigma Alumni Corporation. The recipient(s) are selected by vote in accordance with the Ohio Sigma Alumni Corporation bylaws. The award amount and number of recipients may vary based on the amount available for disbursement during the Sigma Phi Epsilon fiscal year.
Donate to this fund if recognizing individuals and leaders within the chapter by offsetting dues and college expenses through direct scholarships. The criterion for this award heavily favors contributions to the chapter and its purpose is to reinforce the desire of undergraduates to invest in their fraternity.
This fund is tax-deductible, and the SigEp Educational Foundation will mail a letter to your address on file at the beginning of the tax season to indicate the amount you can claim for the previous year.
