After graduating from Case Western Reserve University in 2009, Bill moved to Tampa, FL to pursue a Masters of Science degree in Molecular Medicine from the University of South Florida, graduating in 2010. He then remained in Tampa to work in the Corporate Compliance Office at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. In 2013 he returned to the University of South Florida to begin working toward his Medical Doctorate at the Morsani College of Medicine, graduating in 2017 with his M.D.
Bill then entered into active duty service with the United States Navy as a physician through the Heath Professions Scholarship Program. He completed a general internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD in 2018. Afterward, Bill moved to Pensacola, FL to complete training as a Flight Surgeon at Naval Air Station Pensacola. Upon completion of this training in February 2019, he was transferred to Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego, CA assigned to Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2). CVW-2 is attached to the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70). In 2021 he return to Walter Reed to complete residency in anesthesiology.
When not busy with his work duties, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife Kellie (CWRU Class of ’07) and their two children, Lilly and Everett. They enjoy visiting museums, beaches, national parks, and any child-friendly restaurant with good food!
